Trump Pulled Incredible Death Threat Move With Taliban Leader, Congressman Claims

Former President Donald Trump didn't play games when it came to negotiating with the Taliban, Congressman Wesley Hunt claims.

Donald Trump saw the war in Afghanistan wind down prior to leaving office, and the USA reached an agreement with the Taliban that brought a reasonable level of stability to the area.

However, we all know how it ended. Afghanistan collapsed as American forces left in August 2021 when Joe Biden was President. The situation was made significantly more tragic when 13 service members were killed in a suicide bombing.

However, things might have been a bit different if Trump was still running the show, judging from some recent comments from Hunt.

Congressman Wesley Hunt shares incredible Donald Trump/Taliban story.

Hunt and fellow Congressman Byron Donalds sat down for an interview on Sage Steele's podcast, and one of the coolest stories you'll ever hear was shared during the conversation.

The Congressman from Texas talked about how Trump vowed to kill the Taliban leader to his face during a negotiations meeting, and took things to another level by pulling out a satellite photo of the man's house.

"And [Trump] said, 'If you harm a hair on a single American, I'm going to kill you.' And the translator goes [shocked look], and Trump goes, 'Tell him! Tell him what I said.' Reached into his pocket, pulled out a satellite photo of the leader of the Taliban's home and handed it to him. Got up and walked out the room," Hunt explained.

For what it's worth, I've heard this story from other people a few times since Trump left office. Everyone seems to love talking about it behind closed doors, and it's not hard to see why.

It's the definition of a badass power move. Imagine being in a negotiation with someone, and you don't just vow to kill them. You pull out a photo of their house to make it clear you know exactly where they live.

For the record, the United States keeps tabs on where enemy leaders are at almost all times. That includes Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, Bashar al-Assad and others. It's just good intelligence.

How does it come in handy? Well, if you ever need to threaten someone, it makes it very easy. That's exactly what happened between Trump and the Taliban. Say whatever you want about the former President and current Republican leader, but this is the kind of strength many Americans love to see.

It reminds me of when former Delta Force officer Jeff Tiegs told me that if the enemy messes with us, we're going to do the same in return.
